Dr. Kate W. Baldwin was a senior physician at Philadelphia's Women's Hospital for over twenty years. She later became known for the use of Dinshah Ghadiali's "Spectro-Chrome" machine, and was called as his second witness during his trial. Dr. Baldwin was also the first woman in the American Academy of Ophthalmology and Ololaryngology. Her work and name are mentioned in several medical related works such as: The Journal of Ophthalmology and Oto-laryngology and The Laryngoscope.
She died in 1937.
