Text

July 7, 1931.
M. Eugene Humbert, Dir.,
La Grande Rèforme,
14, Rue de la Duèe,
Paris XX, France.

Dear M. Humbert:

Thank you for sending me a copy of “La Grande Rèforme”. It is most interesting.

Under separate cover I send you a copy of the Hearings, giving both sides of the Birth Control question as presented before the Judiciary Committee of the Senate, February 13th and 14th, 1931. As Congress adjourned the following week, our “Doctors’ Bill” “died in committee”, but we are hoping for better luck this coming year when we expect the Bill to be reintroduced.

With warm greetings and good wishes to you, I am,

Sincerely yours,

Margaret Sanger.
